This recipe is so forgiving and so versatile! It starts with the basic cabbage “stock” and then have a little fun with it! Experiment with different combinations and then just like the folk tale, Stone Soup, share it with a friend! This is an excellent side dish for any meat OR a great addition to a sandwich wrap!

Ingredients:
2 C of chopped cabbage: any variety green, purple, savoy
1 C total of any combination: chopped kale, chopped collards, chopped Swiss chard, spinach, beet tops,
1 C total of any combination: cilantro, parsley, red pepper, carrots, radish
2-3 T avocado mayonnaise
2 tsp champagne vinegar
1-3 tsp of hot sauce/buffalo sauce (see chef notes)
1 tsp salt
* optional “kick” – 1 T diced jalapeño
* optional mediterranean flair: add up to 3T: capers and/or olives and/or dill
* optional: 1 tsp fish sauce for extra umami
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together. Letting it set up to an hour enhances the flavors. ENJOY!
Chef's Notes:
I love to use Mild Buffalo sauce by Noble Made because their sauce is sugar free, additive and preservative free. They also have medium and hot flavors.
